The first official administration of the Certification Exam took place on October 7, 2007 at the IASI conference in Boston.  113 of your colleagues took the exam then. 

We are scheduling the Certification Exam in 2008 to be offered at IASI regional meetings as well as a few other occasions.  We are definitely planning to offer the Exam at the IASI conference in 2009, currently planned to take place in Amsterdam!  As the exam schedule is set, we will be publishing those dates to this page.

ABOUT THE EXAM

The Certification exam has been under construction over the past twoyears.  The creation of the exam has been led by the Certification Board for Structural Integrators.  We have been working with a large number of senior Structural Integration practitioners to define the work we do and then writing questions to test a practitioner’s knowledge about the safe and effective practice of SI.  To date, over 75 members of IASI have contributed to the creation of our exam.

The Certification Exam is not meant to define the field of Structural Integration.  The Certification Exam is designed as a reliable test of the minimum knowledge necessary for performing safe and adequate work in Structural Integration.
