How to Prepare for the Exam
The Certification Exam evaluates the knowledge necessary for the safe and effective practice of Structural Integration. It is geared toward an entry-level practitioner, so you may want to study to “brush up” on terminology, but you should not need to “cram.” A full Study Guide for the exam in pdf format is available through the link at the top of this page. The Study Guide contains a reference list and Content Outline so you can determine the areas where you may desire extra study.
The following steps may be helpful as you prepare for the exam:
- Review the Examination Outline on page 4 of the Study Guide, v 1.2. Make note of the areas you consider to be your strengths and weaknesses.
- Read the Advice on How to Take a Multiple Choice Exam on page 2 of the Study Guide, v 1.2.
- Look through the Study Guide Resource List to find books, articles, web sites, tapes and DVDs which you can access to fill any of your weak areas. The Resource List begins on page 10 of the Study Guide, v 1.2.
- Study the “Review the Series Summary” and “IASI Code of Ethics” on pages 24 – 30 of the included in the Study Guide.
- Before the Exam Day, make sure you know the exact location where the exam will be given, how to get there and how to find the exam room. Be sure you know the exact time you will need to arrive to be allowed into the Exam.
